Selective Service & Your Players

The Military Selective Service Act requires all men ages 18-25 who are U.S. citizens and those who have dual citizenship living abroad to register within 30 days of their eighteenth birthday. The benefits accompanied by registering with the Selective Service are paramount to a young man’s life.

The Selective Service System is dedicated to raising registration awareness and has created an NFHS Leaders Toolkit intended to be utilized among athletic directors, coaches, and administrators. Each section will promote Selective Service registration and raise awareness of this requirement throughout the nation.
